Charlie Sheen is now planning to return to his hit CBS series TWO AND A HALF MEN in two weeks, a week sooner than initially expected. That word comes from Sheen’s attorney, who told E! that the actor is “fine healthwise, and doing really well.”
Sheen sought in-home rehab for undisclosed reasons after a brief hospital stay last month, causing his Monday night sitcom to halt production.
CBS News reports that no matter what Sheen plans to do, producers of the show will make the final decision about whether to resume shooting.
The network has two remaining unaired episodes in the can, and those will air on Monday, Feb. 7th and 14th. Twenty-four episodes were ordered for the season, but so far, only 16 have been produced.
After the Valentine’s Day episode airs, CBS will temporarily fill MEN’s time slot with reruns as well as episodes of RULES OF ENGAGEMENT and MIKE & MOLLY.
