This Sunday, the HALLMARK HALL OF FAME presents “When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story.”
It’s a look inside the lives of Bill and Lois Wilson, who would co-found Alcoholics Anonymous. For this family, alcoholism hit very close to home: Bill’s life was in a downward spiral because of alcohol.
But Lois stood strong and wound up helping him turn his life around, and through her new dedication, changed the lives of millions of others through the Al-Anon organization she founded in the 1930s.
Winona Ryder and Barry Pepper star as the Wilsons. The story focuses on Lois Wilson’s perspective and her guilt over potentially not being strong enough to stop her husband from drinking. It also deals with a chance encounter that changed their lives.
“When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story,” presented by the HALLMARK HALL OF FAME, airs this Sunday night at 9:00pm on LIVE 5 WCSC.
