January 14th is a life-changing date for host David Letterman. That’s the day, back in 2000, when he underwent emergency quintuple bypass heart surgery.
Ten years later, Dave marks the anniversary by bringing on his heart surgeon, Dr. O. Wayne Isom, on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN.
Isom, chairman of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, led the team of surgeons who operated on the late night host.
Also on the lineup tonight are actor Denzel Washington and musical guests The Low Anthem.
THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN airs tonight at 11:35pm on LIVE 5 WCSC.
