20 CBS Shows Renewed So Far

CBS’s crime drama CRIMINAL MINDS will be back for its 11th season in the fall, an announcement that marks CBS’s 20th renewal for the 2013-14 season.

Here’s a complete list of the shows the network confirmed for renewal so far:

Last week, the network announced the renewal of TWO AND A HALF MEN for an 11th season, although the fate of co-star Angus T. Jones, who plays the “half” man, Jake, was still subject to contract negotiations. TWO-AND-A-HALF-MEN-KUTCHERHe didn’t appear as often this past season because of a military storyline. He is said to be interested in pursuing college and music, but after a controversial religious video in which he slammed the show went viral, many have speculated about what his future with the show might be.

Only newcomers PARTNERS and MADE IN JERSEY were canceled from last season.

The remaining shows on CBS’s prime time lineup are still waiting to hear their fates. Those shows are RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, VEGAS, THE GOLDEN BOY and CSI:NY.

South Carolina Woman Among Newest Survivor Castaways

When SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND premieres on Wednesday, February 16th, you’ll have a Palmetto State contestant to cheer for.

According to CBS, Krista Klumpp, a 25-year-old pharmaceutical representative, lives in Columbia. Klumpp says she’s out to “prove that a former cheerleader and pageant girl can win the hardest game ever.”

She’ll be among 16 castaways who’ll be dropped off on somewhere in Nicaragua to play the 22nd “season” of popular reality series, which premiered in 2000.

CBS Begins Mid-Season Show Changes

After a temporary schedule shuffle, CBS is introducing three new series.

Beginning tonight, CBS’s Friday night hit BLUE BLOODS moves to Wednesdays at 10:00pm for the next four weeks. BLUE BLOODS stars Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg as members of a family of New York cops. It is this season’s #2 new series among viewers and Friday night’s top program. It returns to its regular time, Fridays at 10:00pm, on February 11th.

THE DEFENDERS, the legal dramedy starring Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell, will move to Fridays at 8:00pm, where it will stay through the end of March, at which point it will have completed its run for the season.

Survivor to Pit Young Against Old

“A battle for the ages…literally.”

That’s how producers of SURVIVOR are describing the newest cycle of the reality series, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The new edition will be played in Nicaragua, and the 20 new castaways will be split into two tribes of 10, divided by age.

The Espada tribe, made up of contestants over the age of 40, will try to outwit the younger contestants with their life experience and knowledge.

The La Flor Tribe, with its members aged 30 or younger, will bank on their youth and vitality for an advantage.

SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA returns to the time period where it all began in the summer of 2000:  Wednesdays at 8:00pm.  The new series premieres on Wednesday, September 15th on LIVE 5 WCSC.
