New Bosses Sign Up to Go ‘Undercover’

When UNDERCOVER BOSS, one of the surprise hits of last season, returns this fall, it’ll already have four companies signed up for undercover missions.

In the show, top executives go undercover in their own companies, posing as new hires, to get an idea of what it’s really like for the employees.  They also get to see firsthand how the decisions they make affect the real people working for them, and they meet the unsung heroes they might otherwise never notice.

The four companies are NASCAR, DirecTV, Chiquita Brands International, and Great Wolf Resorts.

UNDERCOVER BOSS was the #1 new series of the 2009-2010 season, averaging 17.7 million viewers.  UNDERCOVER BOSS premiered following the Super Bowl to 38.7 million viewers, the largest audience for a new series following the Super Bowl.  It also ranks as the biggest new series premiere since 1987 and the most-watched premiere episode of any reality series.

UNDERCOVER BOSS premieres in a special time period on Sunday, September 16th at 10:00pm on LIVE 5 WCSC, then moves to its regular time slot of Sundays at 9:00pm on October 3rd.

  1. The show is very disappointing. It is obviously staged. Two examples, the garbage lady that has coffee with and hugs her customers daily. The Hooters guy that made them eat from plates before they could go home. The show is stupid. A waste of time. Not sure how they got the ratings. Probably from tweens watching it.

  2. The people who make the rules have no idea what affect their decisions have on the people who actually make the money for the Company. I’m happy to see those in the Ivory Tower come down and live with the Village People! I wish more Companies would do this.

    • I definitely agree with you, I work for a major retail company and I would LOVE the CEO of my company to be on this show. I highly doubt they would ever agree to do the show simply because they don’t care the welfare of they’re employees and more about the bottom line total $ profit.

  3. I think this show is interesting, if we all stop saying that everything is fake and staged on the internet, we may actually have a better functioning society. Whether it is fake or not, stop wasting your time writing about it and let other people enjoy it without your commentary. It is a good show- and the concept does make sense. Just because you guys are too intimidated to have the show come to your job because you slack doesn’t mean other companies don’t want to give an incentive to good hard workers.

  4. I love this show!!!!! I think the CEO or President of Kohl’s need to go undercover and see everything we have to go through customers and ESPECIALLY management!!
